Spring is a busy time. Things are awakening after a long winter sleep, everyone is busy cleaning up the debris left behind, and growers of all types are gearing up for the start of the new growing season. This spring has been a bit rough, with the world in chaos. But amongst the challenges and adjustments that have been necessary, there are plenty of signs and reminders that spring means new hope. As you dive into your busy and critical tasks, don’t forget to take a moment to see the hope that is sprouting around you. Breathe deeply and catch a bit of the rejuvenating wonder.

Other (subtle) signs of Spring

Some of the other signs of spring are all of the colourful posts from my clients, showcasing all of the new and wonderful pots, plants and baskets, the sprouting seedlings, the soon-to-awaken crowns and bulbs, the breaking buds, the rolling equipment, the seeds being planted, and all the rest of the signs that a new growing season is underway. Nothing signals new hope and opportunity like the swell of enthusiasm and passion that explodes from people who truly love plants.
